Pumpkin Carving Stencils is part of The Party Night: every game, invitation, sign, coloring page, tag and label we make, in one download.
The PDF has 11 pages in US Letter and A4. Eight stencils, one per page, are about 6.5 in wide. Four are easy: Classic Grin, Surprised Face, Wise Owl, and Bat and Stars. Four are medium: Boo Ghost, Cat and Moon, Spider Web, and Witch Across the Moon. A how-to page and a gallery come first.
Print a stencil and trim it on the dashed line. Tape it to the pumpkin. Poke small holes along the black edges with a pin tool or a toothpick, then peel off the paper. An adult carves out the black parts. Light it with an LED candle.

Classic Grin and Surprised Face are the faces every porch needs. The other six add an owl, bats, a ghost, a cat, a web and a witch.
Every template has a trim line and four tape marks, so it sits flat on a round pumpkin.
Four easy designs have big shapes for first pumpkins. Four medium designs have finer bridges for steadier hands.
Solid black means carve it out. White means leave it. That is the whole rule.
Both paper sizes are in the download, and each stencil prints at a fixed size on both.

Yes, you can print any of the eight stencils at home. Print the page at actual size on plain paper, trim it on the dashed line and tape it to the pumpkin. The four tape marks help it sit flat.

Classic Grin, Surprised Face, Wise Owl, and Bat and Stars are the four easy designs. They have big shapes that are simpler to poke and carve. Cat and Moon and Spider Web are medium designs if you want a next step.
Start with the Classic Grin or the Surprised Face. Solid black means carve it out, and white means leave it. An adult handles the knife, and children can poke the pattern through.
Free templates exist, and some are good enough. This set is a paid file at $3.00. It gives you eight matching designs, each with a trim line and four tape marks, and both US Letter and A4 sizes.
Use the Boo Ghost stencil, one of the four medium designs. Tape it on, poke along the black edges, peel off the paper and have an adult carve the black parts. The ghost is tall, so the page is limited by height.
